ABOUT ME
Filmmaker . Director .Content Creator
Filmmaking is my sanctuary. It's the only way I know how to express myself.

Studying broadcasting journalism at Cairo University has profoundly helped
the dreamy, artistic and amateur version of me grow a step closer to the
professional and articulate media practitioner I aspire to be. I directed my graduation project- a 15 - minute documentary that won third place in the
faculty's graduation projects' ceremony.

Pursuing a post-graduate degree at the American University in Cairo has wreathed my efforts towards becoming a documentary maker in particular. Studying Field and Studio Digital Camera Production, Talk Show Hosting, Script Writing in English and Arabic, Non- Linear Video Editing and Voice Coaching for News and Drama purposes has helped me produce, shoot
and direct short documentaries, one of which "Who Brought it to Life"
won the Award of Excellence at the Broadcast Education Association - Festival of Media Arts.
My master’s degree got me into the news industry in which I progressed from being a news editor, to a senior content producer. Meanwhile my love for filmmaking kept fighting its way out.

I am currently working on enriching my portfolio with some independent work that I intend to publish on a YouTube channel; a platform where I can share my documentaries with the world. My latest "Terminal 3" was selected by First-Time Filmmakers Sessions Festival and is a "Finalist" at the Prague International Monthly Film Festival.

I am on the watch for new challenges and opportunities like a sunflower on the hunt for sunlight <3.
